The efficiency of the inverter is also extremely important to the output of the project. Avoid compromising on the quality of inverter. Lower price and less efficient inverters can result in thousands of dollars in lost energy production over the projects lifetime. Inverter efficiencies are measured by a CEC Rating. This rating is listed as a percentage and the higher the better.

SMA

SMA utilizes an inverter design that represents the next step in performance for UL certified inverters. The transformerless design means high efficiency and reduced weight. Maximum power production is derived from wide input voltage and operating temperature ranges.
